Terms of Service

These terms form an agreement between you and Zambrite, the operator of ZedSign (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using ZedSign you accept them. If you use ZedSign for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
The service
ZedSign lets you prepare documents, send them for electronic signature, and keep the signed record with its audit trail. Recipients can sign through a secure link without creating an account.
Electronic signatures are recognised in Zambia under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act No. 4 of 2021, with exceptions such as wills and transfers of land. You are responsible for deciding whether an electronic signature suits each document you send.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you add to your organisation.
Acceptable use
Do not use ZedSign to:
- send documents or messages you are not entitled to send, or impersonate another person or organisation;
- send spam, phishing or misleading messages, including through SMS or WhatsApp delivery;
- upload unlawful content or content that infringes others’ rights;
- probe, disrupt or overload the service, or bypass its limits or security.
Fees and billing
Prices are published on the pricing page in Zambian kwacha and exclude applicable taxes. Unless you have a separate enterprise agreement, you pay for completed documents and paid delivery (SMS and WhatsApp) used each month. We issue an invoice after month-end, due within 14 days.
We may suspend sending for organisations with overdue invoices. An organisation with an outstanding balance cannot be deleted until the balance is settled.
Your content
You keep ownership of the documents and data you upload. You give us permission to store, process and transmit them only to provide ZedSign to you and the recipients you choose, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
We work to keep ZedSign available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features; if we make a material change to these terms we will notify account holders before it takes effect.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, ZedSign is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Zambian law.
Ending your use
You may stop using ZedSign at any time and delete your account once any outstanding balance is settled. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
